Dr. Arango is a Developmental Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Parent Coach, and Certified Gottman Educator. She has Level II training in the Gottman Couples Therapy Method and specialized training in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
She has been successfully treating couples and families using these and other scientifically proven effective methods for over 15 years helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families dealing with conflict, addiction, and relationship issues. She is on the faculty in the Department of Psychology at Florida International University where she serves as the Director of the Professional Counseling Psychology masters program, teaching and training graduate students to become professional counselors for the past 12 years. She has been married for 17 years and has two children. |
