Eileen S. Crawford, MS, MBA, LMHC
Eileen Crawford was born in Philadelphia, PA, the third of four rowdy children. She split her childhood between rooting for the Phillies, and living a life on the water outside Annapolis, MD. After college in Florida, a musical career traveling the East coast, and an MBA from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, Eileen enjoyed a successful career in Marketing for a large transportation firm in Philadelphia. In 1998, Eileen moved with her family to Central Florida and seized the opportunity to pursue a career that had always interested her - counseling.
Since graduating from Stetson University with her second Masters in 2002, Eileen has worked in private practice, school and public agency settings. She is proud of designing and founding the three year Student Support Counseling program at Celebration School K-8. This program's originality and value was recognized with two consecutive grants awarded by The Celebration Foundation. The opening in 2010 of Associates in Counseling for Family Health, her own private counseling practice in Celebration, FL, was the culmination of years of study, work, and experience, and a dream realized for Eileen. A wife and mother herself, Eileen is especially interested in working with issues surrounding relationships - how we connect and communicate with each other. She brings an optimistic, strength-based approach to her counseling; working to help clients discover the hidden strengths and resources they can tap for themselves to heal and grow in their own lives. Eileen's approach is practical, person-centered, and based on clinical research and best practices that are evidence-based in specific situations. |
