Melissa Crawford, LMHC
Melissa has been working in the mental health field since 2006 in a variety of settings such as inpatient for mental health, rehab for chemical dependency, longterm residential/rehab programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient psychotherapy (private practice).
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2005 and her Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2010. Melissa has been able to complete several trainings taught directly by Dr. John Gottman and his wife Dr. Julie Gottman focused on skills needed to help couples improve their relationships. The Gottman's trainings are based on 40+ years of research on couples. She continuously attends trainings in order to provide patients the most up to date treatment methods for both individuals and couples. |
