As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Michelle understands the complexity and sensitivity of relationships. Whether it’s an intimate relationship, parents, children, colleagues, or just feeling a little unsure about what direction you are heading, Michelle can help you to build on strengths, face challenges, and create options so you do not continue to feel “stuck” or hopeless where you are. Michelle utilizes several models of therapy in approaching clients' issues. Every client is treated with a personalized, respectful and tailored approach to their needs.
Michelle is married and has two children. Although she moved to Florida over 20 years ago, her Western New York roots shape her down-to-earth personality and non-judgmental style as a therapist. Michelle works with couples, families, adults and older adolescents. She has been in private practice for over 12 years. The last 2 years have been with Compass Counseling Associates as the co-founder and Senior Clinician. She is a clinical supervisor for registered interns and clinicians within and outside her office. She enjoys teaching her skills and sharing her experience with others. Michelle loves to learn and attends multiple trainings in the field to stay on top of new ideas and tools.
