As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Parenting Coordinator, I am trained to assist families who wish to work out the terms of their divorce or parenting schedules without the heartache and cost of litigation. I also provide forensic evaluations that help the court determine what is in the best interest of the children with regard to custody determinations. Parental Alienation is often a factor in these cases and professional determine can often be a determining factor in the outcome of these cases.
I often think in terms of systems and use a family therapy model for treatment. What that means is that we may identify how your family of origin impacts your feelings and behaviors. I also utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and as well as EMDR for trauma, anxiety and PTSD. My approach is holistic and goal-oriented. We identify goals you want to meet then work together to develop the best strategies for you to achieve those goals. I am a professionally trained and licensed through the State of Florida, however, I offer faith-based counseling services at your request. |
