Divorce or separation can be emotionally overwhelming. Even though the decision has been made to end the relationship, you still have the intense emotions of hurt, anger and fear that you must deal with. But what about the kids? If you’re struggling to make sense of the changes that you are going through, how do you think they are handling it? They now find themselves caught between mom and dad, wanting to be loyal to both and not wanting to betray either. How do you continue to co-parent your child or children with the person that you can barely stand to be around without making the whole experience worse…for everyone?
That’s where we come in. We help you learn new ways to co-parent for the benefit of your children. In other words, we teach you how to cooperate, communicate and compromise, putting aside your personal feelings and considering the impact of your words and behaviors on your children. If this is your goal, then we’re here to help. Log in to take the class online or call our office to register for our monthly in-person class. |
